Italian Bread


If you are new to making your own bread, this recipe would be a good place to start!  It has only four ingredients, making it a true artisan bread.

So, first add the ingredients into your bread machine according to the manufacturer's specifications, then set the machine to the manual mode.  


When your machine is finished mixing, remove the dough, divide in half and place into the bread pans, then put the loaves in a draft-free, warm location. (The microwave works great.)


After about 45 minutes I heat the oven to 400 degrees, and bake the loaves for 25-30 minutes.

4 1/2 Teaspoons Yeast
5 Cups Flour
2 Teaspoons Salt
1 3/4 Cups Warm Water
Bake at 400 for 25-30 minutes
Yield: 2 Loaves
